This whole room heater is ultra-safe to operate. The cool-touch case and finger-friendly design makes it safe for use around children and pets, and a locking control panel means settings can’t be accidentally changed.

Should the airflow become blocked for any reason, or the heater is tipped over, the automatic shut-off switch will turn off the heater immediately. In addition, the excess power cord can be safely stowed in a specially-designed tray in the back of the heater, also useful when storing it.

Intuitive Control

The Vornado 5R space heater has an LED touch control panel plus an included remote control for easily making and adjusting your heat settings.

• Heat Settings: Set the heater on low heat (750 watts), or high heat (1500 watts) to create your perfectly comfortable environment.
• Thermostat: Use the plus/minus buttons to change the temperature to your desired setting—display it in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
• Timer: Automatically power off the heater by pressing the clock button to set the timer. Use the plus/minus buttons to set it for up to 12 hours in one-hour intervals.
• Nighttime Mode: In this setting, all the lights illuminating the control panel will turn off except the nighttime button.
• Control Lock: Press the padlock key to lock the control panel to protect from inadvertent changes.
