Advanced 3-Stage Filtration

Equipped with a 3-stage filtration system, the GermGuardian AC9200WCA is designed for allergen and odor reduction. Before entering the the filtration system, air passes through a pre-filter screen extending filter life by capturing large dust particles and pet hair. The air then enters a True HEPA filter. This filter is designed to capture 99.97% of dust and allergens measuring as small as 0.3 microns, including the most common indoor allergens like smoke, dust, pollen, and airborne mold.

Next, air passes through an activated carbon filter trapping household odors and harmful organic compounds. Finally, it enters a UV-C Light filter to kill airborne germs. Titanium Dioxide is activated by the UV-C light to decompose remaining molecules.
