These ducted air purifiers work in unison with your existing heating, ventilating, and cooling system (HVAC) to filter allergens and other harmful particulates out of your air. As entry models in Aprilaire’s whole house air purifier line-up, all 1000 Series units provide MERV-11-grade filtration, which is great if you have mild allergies and a need to improve your indoor air quality overall.

6 Models Available

There are 5 models available in multiple duct sizes. Aprilaire models 1210, 1310, and 1410 are designed to be used with traditionally configured HVAC systems. Models 1510 and 1610 are tailored for larger low static pressure and upflow HVAC systems, respectively. Please use the comparison chart below to help you select the right model for your system. All models will purify your entire home when operating at the recommended airflow rate of 2,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM). MERV-11 filtration is capable of removing 85% of pollen-sized particles (5 microns), 80% of mold spore-sized particles (3 microns), and 50% of all dust particles measuring 1 to 3 microns. MERV-13 filtration is available as an upgrade.

Aprilaire 1000 Whole House Air Cleaners are ducted air cleaners that install on or near your furnace or air handler and remain out of site. As your HVAC system heats, cools, or circulates the air, the electrostatically charged filter simultaneously removes airborne allergens and particles. Clean conditioned air is then re-distributed throughout your entire home using your supply ductwork. Aprilaire whole house air cleaners must be installed by a qualified HVAC professional both to ensure proper installation.
